Independence Day: 20th Anniversary Edition is a 2016 home media re-release of Independence Day that is available on two-disc Blu-ray and DVD, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, and Digital HD. The 20th-anniversary editions feature newly restored theatrical and extended cuts of the film, along with a digital copy of the film and several bonus features.
The 20th Anniversary Edition was also available in an "Attacker Edition", also known as the "Independence Day 20th Anniversary: Ultimate Collector's Edition", featuring a Blu-ray Inside Limited Edition 3D Alien Ship Collector’s Set, and a collectible booklet.
The 20th Anniversary Edition was released on May 3, 2016.[1]
