Independence Day: Extinction is a mobile game based on the movie Independence Day: Resurgence, developed and published by Linekong U.S. It was released on June 30, 2016 for Android and iOS. But sometime after its release, Extinction was taken off the market.
Gameplay[]
The game allows players to play either as the Earth Space Defense force defending Earth, or the Aliens seeking to destroy it. Players will experience action-packed battles as they fight for the very survival of their respective races by fortifying their bases with futuristic technology combined with real-time strategy game play. Key mobile game features include an extensive Player-Versus-Environment campaign, global Player-VS-Player combat, an extensive card-based upgrade system and hybrid weaponry.
Plot[]
Humans have adapted alien technology to create new futuristic weapons that will give Earth a chance to defeat the alien invaders trying to get the earth's molten core.
