Jackson Hardy was a U.S. Army Corporal who was present in the Roswell incident.

Jackson Hardy was born in Louisiana and fought in Belgium and Germany during World War II. During and after the war, he worked in military intelligence.

On July 7, 1947, Jackson was present at the Roswell incident in which he participated in relocating the alien bodies from a crashed alien spaceship in New Mexico. The experience of seeing and touching actual aliens disturbed him. The day after, Jackson was selected with several soldiers into an investigation of a seemingly innocuous farm, where they found a barn painted with a symbol of a circle with a line drawn through it.
