Lucas Jacobs (born 1958) is an American politician who served as the 44th President of the United States from 2005 to 2013.
Biography
Prior to becoming President of the United States, Lucas Jacobs was a member of the United States Army, serving at the rank of Lieutenant General during the War of 1996. Upon retiring from the Army, Jacobs ran for a position in the United States Senate and ultimately won in a narrow race against incumbent President and war hero William Grey. During his presidency, Jacobs emphasized stronger international relations within U.S. foreign policy and firmly supported the Earth Space Defense program.
Jacobs and his administration faced serious controversy surrounding the death of the War of 1996 hero Steven Hiller in the 2007 ESD Spring Expo in which they were found to be complicit for rushing to test the ESD's prototype hybrid aircraft without proper safety concerns that caused Hiller's demise. In order to save face, Jacobs placed the blame of the disaster on then ESD Director Strain, and he reluctantly replaced him with David Levinson.[1]
