Mecca is a city in Saudi Arabia. It is considered to be the holiest city in the religion of Islam, as it was the birthplace of the prophet Muhammad. Only Muslims are allowed into the city, which is often filled with Muslim pilgrims fulfilling one of the five pillars of faith.

History

Following the destruction of the Saudi capital Riyadh during the War of 1996, a City Destroyer made its way to Mecca.

For the many Muslim soldiers of the Middle East, the battle became a holy war to save the center of Islam. Fortunately, Mecca was saved during the July 4th counteroffensive as the City Destroyer was brought down by a large coalition of Saudi, Iraqi, Iranian, British, Israeli, Jordanian, and Egyptian fighters, who were supported by anti-air defenses from the ground.[1]
