The Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit is an American heavy strategic bomber, featuring low observable stealth technology designed for penetrating dense anti-aircraft defenses. The bomber can deploy both conventional and thermonuclear weapons.
During the War of 1996, a squadron of B-2's from Whiteman Air Force Base participated in a nuclear strike against a City Destroyer over Houston. A B-2 launched its warhead at the vessel, destroying Houston in the process but failed to destroy the Destroyer.
