Saudi Arabia is an Arab state in Western Asia constituting the bulk of the Arabian Peninsula. The country was founded in 1932 following a series of conquests beginning in 1902 under the House of Saud. Saudi Arabia has since been an absolute monarchy, effectively a hereditary dictatorship governed along Islamic lines.
History
During the War of 1996, the Saudi capital city of Riyadh was destroyed during the third wave of the aliens' attacks. Although aware of the aliens' force-field technology, the Saudi government decreed that their forces must defend the Holy City of Mecca at all cost should the aliens encroach on the city. During the July 4th counterattack, Saudi military forces and their allies successfully brought down a City Destroyer and saving Mecca.[1]
