Van de Graaff is a crater formation located on the far side of the Moon, on the northeast edge of Mare Ingenii. The crater is named for physicist Robert J. Van de Graaff.
In July 2016 an unknown alien ship was shot down by the ESD in which it crash landed in Van de Graaff. A team led by David Levinson traveled to the crater via Space Tug and searched through the wreckage where they recovered an intact container.
